Optimize Storage Platforms Before Migration

When performing a bulk import or initial migration of data using SkySync, check with your platform vendor's documentation for possible efficiency enhancements via settings.  Some platforms, like OpenText Content Server, suggest that you suspend indexing during the migration to speed up the operation.  After the initial migration, the indexes can be rebuilt more efficiently once instead after each new file.
